thoroughly professional and friendly consultations with Dr Malaiya.
Dr Ritu Malaiya was very thorough. She made me feel very relaxed and explained everything to me. I would highly recommend her.
I have been suffering in pain for two years, I felt listened to, and eventually was told what was causing the pain. The speed and delivery of the compassionate service was brilliant.
I went to see Dr Malaiya with shoulder pain having previously been treated for polymyalgia rheumatica by my GP. Dr Malaiya listened to my symptoms, examined me & after an ultrasound was able to offer me a steroid injection which has provided me with pain relief. She explained everything very thoroughly and checked I understood. I also suffered from knee pain, so after arranging an MRI, I asked for a steroid injection into my knee as well, which has been very successful. Dr Malaiya is very professional, has excellent communication skills, and I was never rushed during my appointments. I would highly recommend her.

Explained everything well but got sidetracked and then didn’t ask me anything for why I was actually there
Dear Anonymous, your feedback is invaluable and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Rheumatology problems often involve multiple areas of your body - even if you don’t have symptoms in other areas. Sometimes questioning and examination may seem irrelevant, but they are a necessary part of ensuring a thorough review is conducted. Your insights from a patient perspective are greatly appreciated and I will review my practice going forward to ensure this is clearly explained in my future consultations. If you have any outstanding questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with my secretary and I would be happy to discuss further.
