I recently saw Professor Shahid Khan at The London Clinic, and I could not be more grateful for the exceptional care I received. From the moment I met him, it was clear that he is not only an outstanding gastroenterologist but also a genuinely kind, approachable, and gentle human being. Having seen several gastroenterologists in the past, I can say with complete honesty that none have come close to Professor Khan. His calm manner, clear explanations, and reassuring presence immediately put me at ease. Professor Khan performed both a gastroscopy and colonoscopy for me at The London Clinic. I had been quite apprehensive beforehand because of a painful experience with this procedure in the past. To my absolute surprise, under his care I did not feel a thing. The entire process was smooth, comfortable, and handled with the utmost professionalism. What truly sets Professor Khan apart is his combination of clinical excellence and genuine compassion. He listens carefully, takes time to understand concerns, and never makes you feel rushed. His confidence is reassuring, yet he remains humble and warm throughout. I left my appointment feeling fully informed, cared for, and deeply appreciative of the level of attention he gave me. It is rare to find a consultant who blends expertise, empathy, and humanity so seamlessly. I would recommend Professor Shahid Khan without hesitation to anyone seeking the highest standard of gastroenterological care. He is, quite simply, exceptional.

Warm manner, professional approach with good outcome
many thanks for taking the time to leave a review for me! KR S Khan
Professor Khan was extremely professional and knowledgeable for the condition I was consulting him for. He explained everything in detail including plan of testing and possible treatments.
Professor Khan was amazing. He explained my liver condition to me thoroughly. I felt very reassured after he went through all my tests results. I will recommend him to anyone with liver issues. He is the best. Thank you.
I first saw Prof Khan in 2019 when he performed an endoscopy on me. He was great and so I came back to see him again. I have had numerous appointments with Prof Khan over the last 6 months and I could not be happier with the service I have received which was consistent throughout. - He did comprehensive diagnostic tests that were needed such as blood tests and various scans. - He went through every result with me and took the time to answer ALL of my questions. - He did not rush me in any of my appointments and made me feel very comfortable. - He respected my modesty only exposing the necessary part of my abdomen when he performed a fibroscan. - He is very knowledgeable and an expert in his field (which is why i picked him). However the bonus is that he is also very friendly and easy to talk to. I would recommend Prof Khan to everyone. I had medical insurance but if you are self funding then he is definitely someone that you won't have any regrets with and it will be worth every penny.
Prof Shahid Khan is extremely professional and caring Doctor, his approach towards diagnostics is very professional one.
Professor Khan is simply one of a kind, he is a wonderful doctor. When I went to him the first time for a second opinion, it was the first time I felt listened to. He has been professional, compassionate, caring and very patient in all his interactions with me. In my times of worry, he has been a reassuring presence, always available to answer my queries. Even when I self-diagnosed and failed to accept good test results, not once did he treat me with frustration. I once said to him that all doctors should be like him. Unfortunately so few actually are. His kindness, care and willingness to help have helped me more than he will ever realise. Karen his assistant was also very kind and helpful. I would not see any other hepatologist. A very grateful patient :)
One of the most caring and compassionate doctors on Harley St. Prof Khan takes the time to get to know his patients and explore all of the health issues that are affecting them. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and look forward to seeing him for many years to come.
