About Professor Nima Heidari
Mr Nima Heidari, Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon, currently works within the Barts Health NHS Trust and sees patients privately at The Royal London Hospital. He is highly skilled in the management and treatment of lower limb trauma, sports injuries, and lower limb injury.
Mr Heidari began his medical education at St George's Hospital, before starting his specialist training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery. During this specialist training, he was awarded a fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons and trained within the Bristol Limb Reconstruction Unit, where he gained invaluable experience in performing reconstructions and other procedures. He was later awarded several international fellowships in France (the University of Lille) and several in the USA (Harbor UCLA Medical Centre, Rothman Institute, and the University of Utah Orthopaedic Centre). After the completion of these fellowships, we became a Fellow of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust.
Mr Heidari has focused intensively on improving patient care and quality of life since his appointment to Consultant. He wants his patients to have the best possible chance of bodily function.

We’re to l start, if it wasn’t for the Professor Heidi and his outstanding secretary l wouldn’t be here A long road lm going thru but there professionalism is the best world wide, l understand everything lm told, he takes time, care & empathy at every appt, also the secretary Nicki meets me & talks to me after as lm upset taking time with me, also you can call her anytime, they both should be awarded an honorary award, He Is The Best in the World along with Nicci his wonderful Secretary, he saved me, thank you Professor Heidi & Nicci.
I visited Professor Heidari due to an ankle sprain. His initial examination was very thorough: he tested my mobility and pain in a series of conditions, he answered all my questions, and he helped me get the Xrays and MRI needed within the following 2 days to ensure a rapid diagnosis. In my second visit, Professor Heidari went through the interpretation of the imaging with me helping me better understand the injury and the suggested treatment, answered all follow-up questions and directed me to the most convenient physiotherapist professional to help me be diligent with the treatment plan.
Thank you to Professor Heidari as the two procedures have been very successful and have made a material difference to me and my ability to continue with activities that I love.
I was initially transferred under Professor Heidari care after a bad experience from an operation in February. From our first meeting I was put at ease and made to feel that I was in very experienced hands and reassured that he would help me with a solution from a bad situation. His team have been very supportive and my whole experience with the treatment etc has been fantastic. I still have a long way to go but I know I can rely on him to provide support if and when needed.
