Dr. Mustafa Alnaib, Clinical Director at ACTIVATE Musculoskeletal Clinic in Kent and London, is an orthopaedic surgeon and Musculoskeletal doctor with a specialised focus on evidence-based, non-surgical approaches to musculoskeletal care, emphasising patient-centered treatment. He is particularly interested in advancing non-surgical pain relief for patients with arthritis, employing ultrasound-guided advanced injections such as Arthrosamid, Hyaluronic acid, and Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), alongside traditional cortisone/steroid injections. This technique is part of Dr. Alnaib's broader expertise in musculoskeletal medicine and primary care orthopaedics, aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and quality.
Dr. Alnaib has adopted a one-stop-clinic approach in his private practice for management of joint, muscle, and ligament problems, enabling patients to be assessed by a specialist doctor, undergo an ultrasound scan and receive injection treatment, all within a single appointment. This model streamlines the treatment process, significantly enhancing patient experience and outcomes.
Furthermore, Dr. Alnaib is keen on integrating digital physiotherapy as an adjunct to treatment. Recognising the importance of comprehensive care, he advocates for the use of digital platforms to support patient recovery and rehabilitation, ensuring a holistic approach to musculoskeletal health that leverages the latest in medical technology.
As the founder of ACTIVATE, Dr. Alnaib's approach is rooted in his commitment to merging innovative healthcare solutions with traditional care models, thereby ensuring the delivery of advanced, efficient, and personalised medical services.
Dr. Alnaib's professional training and roles, including his work as an NHS orthopaedic surgeon and educational contributions, further demonstrate his comprehensive expertise and dedication to the field.

Dr Mustafa Alnaib is professional, friendly, and reassuring in his patient interactions. He provides clear explanations, thorough consultations, and effective diagnoses. Musculoskeletal ultrasound guides procedures for conditions like hip pain, knee issues, and rotator cuff problems. Treatments use specific injection procedures, including Durolane, Hyaluronic acid, PRP therapy, and steroid injections. Some patients mention injections are painful or do not provide immediate relief. Overall, Dr Alnaib provides comprehensive care for joint pain and shoulder pain through specific injection treatments.
My planned visit to consult Mustafa after the festive period suddenly crystallised, such that the consultation and treatment occurred all in one evening visit. Arrangements were made and on examining the analysis of the X-ray of my knee, it was clear that Durolane plus Depo-Medrone would be the best treatment, at least initially. Mustafa then carried out the injection and, with some advice on what might happen during the next few days, I was free to go. That level of service is very hard to beat!
Thank you so much for this kind review

I had injections of Hyaluronic in both knees on 6/12/25. This has worked; no pain when walking up stairs and I walked 4 miles today, 22/12. Dr. Alnaib was very professional and reassuring. He explained the procedure very clearly and I felt no pain from the injections. I am so pleased I had this done.
