About Mr Zameer Shah
Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Zameer Shah, specialises in hip and knee surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London, where he carries out routine hip and knee surgery and takes on complex referrals from across the country. Mr Shah gained his medical qualification in 1997 from Kings College London before training in a number of different surgical areas in Cambridge, Oxford, and London. He later spent time as a research fellow at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital where he studied the use of stem cells. Mr Shah was chosen as an International Fellow at the renowned Insall Scott Kelly Institute and at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Upon his return to the UK, he went on to complete a second Fellowship at Guy's Hospital.
Mr Shah has a passion for research and education. He is currently a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Kings College London and is also involved in national trials and programs to further medical knowledge.
In his time outside of the hospital, Mr Shah enjoys football, cricket, tennis, badminton, and mountaineering. He also enjoys travelling, reading history, and learning to play the piano.
