doctor Bahrami literally saved my life where no other doctors would take on my case due to the many other body disorders including the requirement for double heart by pass arteries 95% blockage, failing kidneys, diabetes, grey platelet syndrome [very low platelets]. the all round care from dr bahrami and his team was 100% so i am happy to leave this review.

Since having the MI a fortnight ago and then being told my total occluded LAD was unsuitable for stenting, to being informed that MIDCABs are not done at my regional CTS centre, I was totally lost. Without your exceptional skills and experience in this area, I would be in a different place. From initial discussion to surgery, as a colleague surgeon, you immediately inspired me with so much confidence in your ability. Thank you for your expeditious and gracious acceptance of me as your patient. You are the only one who knows how to do this surgery magnificently, on the beating heart and through such a small incision that my recovery has been very smooth, and to being discharged on Day 4. Mr Toufan Bahrami is a remarkable man, he can do with keyhole surgery what many others need open heart surgery to do. He also does great quality work. All paths in my research led to him being the top person and the same with other patients of his I met, many of whom came from abroad for him. The preparation and planning work he did beforehand to make sure there were no surprises during surgery was amazingly diligent, whether it was his planning through the 3d model from the CT scan and everything else he did. On top of being a great surgeon, he also ensured that I went to the best choice of hospital, the hospital looked after me, organised incredible cardiac rehab and so on. This meant he managed the whole thing. He also works with great people, so the anaesthetist, his assistant doctor are all people who are top of their fields. When the usual post-surgery issues came up, he always responded immediately to what the hospital sent him, which was incredible. Bottom line, he is popular but deservedly so and well worth the wait. His assistant Maria was also incredibly patient and understanding with how nervous I was, I am not sure I could be as patient as she was with me.

I had a heart bypass on 6.6.25 at Harley Street. Mr Bahrami is a very busy man but he took the time to explain things to me on our pre surgery consultation. He has always explained things well so I felt informed at all stages.

This was a review following surgery carried out last year. The surgery was completed successfully and I am very pleased with the outcome, Mr Bahrami is clearly a skilled surgeon.

Mr Bahrami is a charismatic personality with a super bedside manner. Mine was a complex operation involving aorta valve replacement and other procedures around the ascending aorta but he reassured me and my family that all would be well and it was. He dealt with my case quickly and took time to explain what was happening at all stages.
