Mr Tim Lloyd is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon focusing on diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the mouth, jaws, face and neck.
"My specialist interests are the correction of jaw deformity and craniofacial deformity. I am the lead for the adult craniofacial service at UCLH and surgical lead for the division growth and development at the Eastman Dental Hospital. I have one of the largest orthognathic (surgical correction of the jaw and face) practices in Europe and I have pioneered day case orthognathic surgery in the UK.
I regularly lecture at the international orthognathic congress and I am consultant advisor to Medartis, an international medical devices company.
I feel extremely fortunate to be involved with the charity "Facing Africa". I go with David Dunaway and others to Ethiopia to operate on Noma victims on a yearly basis. As clinical lead for the oral surgery department at the Eastman Dental Hospital, I have been responsible for training programs for oral surgery and I continue to do oral surgery lists in my NHS practice. The excellent facilities at 152 are perfect for carrying oral surgery procedures."

Very pleasant and explained things well
Tim was very friendly, clear with what the plan was, made me feel comfortable and that I was in safe hands - because I was! Surgery went great, was well looked after and in the recent follow up, Tim answered all my questions and supplied me with what I needed to help the issue I was having. Very grateful and happy Tim was my surgeon.
Having recently undergone a procedure, I would recommend Mr Lloyd without hesitation. I was made aware of potential issues but ultimately I had the confidence to proceed after an appropriate amount of collaboration and preparation. He has a team of like-minded professionals that assist him with the procedure and the administration. Mr Lloyd and his team made a difficult hurdle easier to overcome, I am sincerely grateful to be the other side of this problem.

I was referred by my dentist and periodontist. I telephoned the office and managed to get a quick appointment. When I met Mr Lloyd he was very thorough and his manner was calm and reassuring. When he received the results of biopsy, he telephoned me personally with the result. Would recommend Mr Lloyd.

I was referred to Tim follow years of ongoing pain. I was completed fed up and depressed with my jaw pain and state of my teeth. Tim diagnosed TMJ. He was very friendly and sympathetic to my condition and provided great advice and medical help to relieve my symptoms. He has also recently extracted a very challenging tooth that has been broken by the TMJ condition. He was kind when I said I was scared and talked me through the procedure offering a couple of different ways we could do it. I would go back to Tim again and highly recommend his services.
