My experience with Mr Shetty was outstanding. He was understanding, explained the whole process, answered all questions and was extremely competent in all that he did. I could not have asked for more from my surgeon and am so pleased with the results.

I visited Mr Shetty today roughly speaking 6 weeks after a Total Hip Replacement. Mr Shetty, as previously, was very courteous, informative, and showed me an xray of my replaced hip. I'm very pleased with what has been an impressive, professional and very successful operation and after care.

I am 89 and was a little worried about the surgery itself and the outcome, but there was no need for any such worries. I was highly impressed with every stage of the procedure form the initial interview with Mr. Shetty through to the surgery and the various aspects aftercare. Everything was explained to me in advance, all of the staff were kind and considerate, the pain was noticably less than I expected and, yes, I did the exercises as advised, but I was very pleasntly surprised by how quickly the knee recovered and I was able to use it again. The only problem I experienced was a recurrrence of swelling in my feet and ankles, now much reduced, and which, I understand will disappear completely in time. In short, I am delighted that I accepted the offer of the surgery and that I am free of knee pain that had existed for a long time.

Mr Shetty and his team provided me with an outstanding package of care, right from preoperative advice and assessment through to the day of surgery and then post operative care and physio follow-up. Mr Shetty is highly skilled surgeon who manages to develop a fantastic relationship with his patients, providing specialist advice, reassurance and empathy throughout. I am a keen walker and cyclist and his hip replacement for me has truly transformed my life, from living with constant pain and being unable to sleep to now, just 10 weeks post surgery, being able to walk 6+ miles through the New Forest feeling pain free and strong. Dr Shetty was my surgeon when I had a hip replacement on 8th July 2025. I received the best care possible from Dr Shetty and his team. I was back at my gym classes 7 weeks after surgery and I feel fantastic!
