Mr. Kalkur then underwent higher-level specialist training in gynaecology from world-renowned universities and hospitals such as St. Mary's and Chelsea Hospital London, giving him exceptional experience, especially in minimal access surgery techniques.
After completing his specialist training, Mr. Kalkur undertook a fellowship focused on gynaecological oncology at Oxford University, learning under some of the world's most prestigious experts in this field. In 2012, he was appointed a consultant at the NHS Southend Hospital, where his specific areas of interest are:

I would not hesitate to recommend Mr Kalkur. He has treated me following my Endometrial Cancer diagnosis in October 2025.. He is an exceptional surgeon, who really cares about his patients. He makes sure that he is there to answer any concerns you have pre and post surgery. My cancer journey has been made easier because of his wonderful team.
Dr Kalkur is by far the best gynaecologist i have visited. He is always very professional and listens to my concerns and flows up with next steps.
