Raghu qualified as a doctor at Cambridge University in 1993, and further progressed his skills by completing basic surgical training in London, with the Royal College of Surgeons. He then became a specialist neurosurgery registrar in Newcastle for eight years, researching, gaining knowledge and experience regarding a range of complex neurosurgical procedures. Upon completion of his registrar training, he was appointed as Consultant Neurosurgeon in 2006, at Oldchurch Hospital, Romford, Essex. Raghu is revered for his outstanding practice and high level of clinical experience, and utilises clinical governance to ensure this, as well as to ensure the safest service possible.

I am pleased that I was able to meet Mr Raghu Vindlacheruvu. He explained the treatment options available but that he did not undertake those specific surgical treatments himself. However, he would refer my case on to the appropriate Consultants.
I was greeted by Mr Vindlacheruvu and he advised it was ok for my son to be present at the consultation. Although I initially felt nervous he put my mind at ease and explained the reasons behind his questions in easy to understand terms. I came away thinking he was very professional and empathetic.
