About Mr Paul Stimpson
ENT surgeon, Mr Paul Stimpson, has private practice at The London Clinic.

His areas of interest include robotic surgery, neck lumps, benign head and neck disorders, voice and swallowing problem, tonsillitis, thyroid disease, and conditions of the salivary gland. Mr Stimpson plays a key role in the regional Head and Neck Cancer and Thyroid Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT), and he became regional MDT unification lead in 2018.
Mr Stimpson is the Clinical Lead for Head and Neck Surgery at University College London Hospital. He is also chairman of the London Clinic Head and Neck MDT.
Mr Stimpson gained his diploma of Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery (DOHNS) from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2006 and went on to earn an MSc in Surgical Technology from Imperial College London. In 2012, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and later completed an international fellowship in head and neck oncology in Australia.
Mr Stimpson is active in research and audit. He has published more than 30 research publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals and has presented at international, national, and regional conferences, such as the Royal Society of Medicine. He is at the forefront of the development of minimally invasive procedures (such as robotic surgery) for the treatment of head and neck cancer.

His clinical examination is both thorough and unhurried, and is accompanied by a full explanation of what is happening throughout the various examination techniques, investigative procedures, and treatments. The consultation was very worthwhile and left me with a clear view of what was causing my symptoms and how they could be resolved.
