I can't praise 'Dr Paddy' highly enough. From a clear explanation of the proposed procedure, to carrying out the operation and even taking the time to drop in on me at discharge, he was superb. The quality of his surgical technique is borne out by an amazingly speedy recovery. In less than three weeks I was off crutches around the house, in less than 5 weeks taking short walks outside and driving, all without any noticeable discomfort or difficulty. 5 stars are not enough. THANK YOU!!

Dr Subramanian has given me my life back. He told me clearly that I needed a hip replacement and set about arranging the operation quickly. The care I had was exemplary from first consultation, the operation day and the physiotherapy that followed. I cannot thank the team enough for everything they have done. You are all amazing.

Dr Paddy Not only had a wonderful way with him but he was an excellent surgeon! I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Paddy. I could not walk nor function... Dr Paddy gave me my life back! Also the staff at the Cavell Hospital were excellent and caring.

All went really well. I was looked after very well by everyone . I could of been discharged home on the same day but decided to stay in over night, I was glad I did as I was checked on through out the night, and felt I needed the extra time to recover.

From my first visit to see Mr Paddy Subramanian in April 2025 to having my hip replaced in June 2025 I was treated with respect and everything was explained to me as to what was going to happen. You could not ask for kinder care from everyone in Elstree and Bushey they all took great care in looking after me.My recovery has gone very well and I am very grateful to everyone who took part in helping me get better. My very very first operation in my life time..Utcwas a really really good experience from Chase Farm excellent hospital to Paddy’s fabulous work on my knee.

It was good to see Mr Subramanian after my surgery. He said I was walking better. He also said he would see me in 20years time which made me smile. I probably didn't thank him enough for my surgery which has been life changing.

My recent hip replacement surgery, even though completely daunting for me, was carried out at The Cavell with exemplary consideration and care from the administration team, nursing team, physiotherapy and Mr. Paddy Subramanian’s medical team. Mr. Subramanian's knowledge and approach had put me at my ease and the result of his surgical skill has assisted in getting my life going forward again.I send onto Mr. Subramanian, heartfelt and sincere gratitude.
