Mr Joyti Saksena is professional, friendly, and provides clear explanations to patients. Patients report excellent results from orthopaedic interventions, with much less pain and better movement. He makes sure patients understand all steps, giving full details on surgery and healing. A large proportion of Mr Saksena's work focuses on hip replacement and knee replacement.
I found Mr Joyti Saksena very professional and approachable. He answered all my questions and explained my operation and stages of my recovery. After my surgery he came to see me and explained how my operation went which was very reassuring. On my follow up visit he went through my surgery and again answered any questions I had. He did not rush me and ensured that I was happy with my recovery.
Mr Joyti Saksena is a very experienced consultant in his field. On meeting him I was very happy and confident that the procedure for full knee replacement would be a success. He is very reassuring and makes you feel at ease and always gives you conscience information about what you have had done and how your recovery will go. Would recommend him to family and friends and going forward will look to get my other knee replaced in the future.
Excellent knowledge and attention to detail. Explained everything very well and I feel confident going forward 5 weeks post op.
My husband is a previous THR patient of Mr.Saksena and I was delighted to request him to undertake my own hip replacement surgery. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention I have received from him, both pre and post surgery. Similarly I was indebted to the nursing staff for their continuous commitment during my hospitalisation.
Just had my 6 week follow up after a full knee replacement. I was seen early and after examining my knee, Mr Saksena thoroughly explained the healing process from now on regarding muscle strengthening. He checked that my physio sessions are going well and answered a couple of questions I had. It is my second knee replacement with Mr Saksena and would highly recommend him. He has a very friendly bedside manner, explains things well and I cannot thank him enough!!
My experience was overall excellent with the team at Cavell hospital
I have received the best care and reassurance from my consultant on my progress and how to move forward with my recovery. My visit today was excellent and feel my surgery went well and continue to make progress in returning back to work soon.
Follow-up appointment after knee arthroscopy. Mr. Saksena and I were very pleased with my progress. He had plenty of good advice for the future management of my knee, which I will follow. His explanations were clear. His 'bedside manner' was friendly, professional and I am happy that I chose the right consultant to help.
I had my right hip replaced 5 weeks ago, and am so happy with the results. Totally pain free and walking normally again. Thank you so much.
Mr Saksena is a knowledgeable and kind colleague, who’s always willing to help and impart sound advice.
