Mr Jonathan Wilson

Mr Jonathan Wilson is a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at the Whittington Health NHS Trust, an Honorary Consultant at University College London Hospital, and also practices privately at the London Clinic and OneWelbeck Hospitals. He specialises in out-patient, emergency and surgical management of all Colorectal and General Surgical conditions (keyhole surgery). These include colon and rectal cancer, hernias, gallstones, rectal bleeding (haemorrhoids and anal fissure), inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and ulcerative colitis), diverticular disease, anal fistula, and emergency general surgey such as appendicitis.

Following his training at Leeds University School of Medicine, he was awarded a PhD for his research into Colorectal Cancer. This prestigious research fellowship was funded by the Medical Research Council and Royal College of Surgeons. In 2000, he became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

Mr Wilson is the Chairman of the London Clinic Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
