Aside from stating the obvious that Dr Jenkins is a renowned expert in his field, he was incredibly professional, and provided clear explanations. He was also very human in his approach, was patient, and kind, which provides lots of reassurance if you’re anxious as a patient, so I really appreciated this. Would unquestionably recommend.
I was fortunate and privileged to be introduced to Ian Jenkins in Jan 2021 after a referral from colleagues at St Marks Hospital, North London. Having been diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2020 and undergone pre surgery radiotherapy and chemotherapy through the NHS, due to COVID backlogs with NHS procedures, we decided to go privately for future treatment and surgery - one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. Through Ian's skill and professionalism over the last 5 yrs of many surgical and personal consultations and referrals, I am still cancer free and living a relatively normal life with my family in retirement - something I feared, in the early days post diagnosis, I was unlikely to have. Ian has not only, literally, saved my life but also given me a quality of life that I could never of dreamed of after my devastating cancer news back in 2020. I will always be eternally grateful to Ian and his team for his brilliance then and now as he continues to support me and my family with regard to my future health.
Thorough explanations and patient when asked questions. Takes an overall interest in your health.
This is not just about my recent visit it is about 3 years of great experience. I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Jenkins, my fantastic colorectal surgeon. He is not only an outstanding surgeon but, even more importantly, a wonderful human being. I truly cannot imagine myself in better hands. Over the past three years, he has supported me through a major and complex operation with compassion, and exceptional skill. I will always be thankful for everything he has done for me. He is an amazing colorectal surgeon. Dr. Jenkins is at the highest level of his profession I would also like to sincerely thank his professional and respectful admin team, Becky!
I have ni hesitation recimmending Mr Jenkins who was my surgron when i had Bowel Cancer stage 4
I feel very lucky to have Mr Jenkins as my consultant . As well as being very skilled he is compassionate. I would not want surgery with anyone else.
Had colorectal surgery. Mr Jenkins has an unorthodox series of incisions which means that you heal quicker. Highly recommended
