After nearly 3 years of trying to get my left knee sorted out, I was so pleased to have Mr Patel take me under his care and do an amazing job. I can't thank him another.
My total knee repalcement has gone very well - I started off asking for an assessment, and was impressed with its thoroughness; with other options ruled out for clear reasons. The hospital admission went well; and the recovery has been as good as I could have expected. My further consultations with Mr Patel have also been clear and amicable; I am grateful for his expertise and all-round interest.

I returned to Shirley Oaks, and Mr Patel, for a second knee replacement.The overall procedure from start to finish, was provided in a professional, informative, manner. He clearly explained what would happen, the possible outcomes, and the whole procedure was carried professionally and successfully.
I had a full hip replacement and I am delighted with the results. I can now walk up stairs properly without any pain or discomfort and get around much easier. Throughout the process Mr Patel was very thorough and professional, pointing out possible problems that could occur with surgery as well as the benefits. I am so pleased with the treatment I received and would not hesitate to recommend Mr Patel. He is also a very nice person to deal with.
