I consulted Mr Ahmed about cataract surgery on both eyes. After a thorough examination and a conversation about the impact the cataracts were having on my daily life, he clearly explained the process of cataract removal and the expected benefit of premium lens replacement. Surgery itself was quick and straightforward, and at all times I felt well informed about what to expect. Just a few days after the first surgery I began to see a marked improvement in my vision. I found Mr Ahmed to be approachable and receptive at all stages of the process and I am very pleased with the results.

From the very first consultation Mr Ahmed explained clearly my diagnosis, what he recommended and the treatment involved. The Surgery itself (3 stents and a new lens) was conducted in a calm manor and at no point did I feel any pain or was alarmed. The follow up appointments were reassuring and all my questions were clearly answered. In addition the back up from Mr Ahmed's PA was exemplary making the process overall excellent

Faisal and the whole team provided professional, expert care. Throughout every appointment and the procedure I felt valued and in safe hands. So far I have been really pleased with the results of the cataract surgery, just a waiting game now to see if I can get away without reading glasses.

Result outstanding, a pleasure to have been as advisor and surgeon. Reassuring, matter of fact, professional and astonishingly quick to complete the procedure. From covering my face to isolate the eye to finishing the cataract removal and inserting the new lens then removing the mask took exactly 10 minutes. I timed it. Frankly, I am amazed at the briefness of the procedure, the lack of side effects including pain, the dramatically improved eyesight within 24 hours and the sense of improved wellbeing that has resulted.

Mr Faisal has looked after my eye-sight for a number of years including during the Covid Pandemic when I had eye surgery. He has always been sympathetic and honest in regards to my diagnosis and very calm and unflustered in explanation and instructions. His secretary is in the same category of empathy and I have no complaints at all. On the contrary I recommend him to anyone seeking the best eye surgeon/specialist they are likely to find. I am grateful to Mr Beare. my previous surgeon, for recommending him on his own retirement.
