Mr Danny Mitry interacts with patients with a professional, kind, caring, confident, calm, and reassuring manner. Patients report excellent outcomes, including for cataract surgery, retinal detachment repair, and laser eye surgery. His detailed explanations and pain-free operations result in clear, improved vision for many. Many patients praise his expertise in cataract surgery, his most common treatment.
Treatment after cataract operation a few years earlier was done in an efficient manner. Simple direct explanations, and patiently walking through several questions, followed by correction of the vision by laser shortly thereafter. All email correspondence with Mr. Mitry's office was clear and swift, allowing for easy appointments and follow up in the London Clinic Eye Centre.
I have to say that I am delighted with the results of my cataract surgery. I can see so clearly and so brightly! My optometrist told me that there is no need for distance glasses and gave me a prescription for reading glasses though I don't really need them except for the tiniest print! I would like to thank Mr Mitry and his team for their outstanding care.
Mr Danny Mitry is an absolute expert in everything that he does. I felt very confident after seeing him. He explained everything to me in detail and I'm looking forward to my operation to remove my floaters after my tear in my retina has healed as I have full confidence and trust in him. Also, his secretary was very very understanding sympathetic and kind, and when I ran up because I was scared, she didn't lose her patience at all
Retina Detachment creeps up on you slowly. Then BAM! The moment you notice your field of vision closing down, see Danny. Not “I’ll leave it for a bit, it may get better” and not “Damn, I’m awfully busy this week”. That’s too late. I saw Danny on a Monday. He operated that evening. If I’d left it to the Thursday, it may well have been too late. (All this need for urgency is, of course, on the internet but why make things difficult for yourself?) As it is, six weeks later, Bingo, I can see, even drive. Now having someone drill inside your eye socket for an hour and a half is not a relaxing experience, however much sedation you are given. What makes it reassuring in your inner core is Danny’s manner. His skill is without doubt. His open ease, sense of quiet confidence, warm manner ( half Lebanese, half Irish he has it all) is what makes the difference. Sure the sedative helps make it painless, but Danny provides something even more valuable. Once done, you’ll have a tough couple of weeks. ( Amazon has an essential pillow for retinal detachment) and then an uncertain month. That’s where Danny kicks in again.e Reassuring, yes, but also with an excellent secretary, a great sense of time-keeping and a full-scale eye clinic just down the corridor from his office door. If he is that good at Retinal Detachment, I guess he must be pretty darn good at everything. Sitting in his waiting room, I notice furrowed brows go in and smiling faces come out. Just like mine.

Excellent care. Explained exactly the problem with my eye and how it would be treated. I felt confident and reassured with what was happening. Would without question recommend Mr. Mitry to family & friends.
Excellent. I saw Me. Mitry as an emergency patient. He was professional explained what had happened to my eye and how we were going to resolve the situation. Kind & supportive. I felt confident in his care.
I was extremely impressed with Mr Mitry and would definitely highly recommend him. He was very approachable, has a friendly manner and always gave clear explanations. I had both my eyes corrected simultaneously. There was no pain or discomfort during and after the procedure. My long and middle vision are excellent, whilst my near vision could be improved by +1 glasses.
Danny is a lovely colleague and an excellent clinician. I would trust him with my eyes.
