Mr Asif Haq demonstrates a professional, caring, and reassuring approach during patient interactions, and provides clear explanations. His surgical expertise spans various colorectal and general surgical procedures, including complex cases such as endometriosis-related bowel surgery and abdominal adhesiolysis, resulting in excellent outcomes and smooth recoveries. Patients highlight his skill and ability to explain complex information in understandable terms, noting his holistic approach to care. Some patients mention a desire for more extensive discussion of treatment alternatives or additional time for questions. Colonoscopy, colorectal surgery, and haemorrhoids treatment are particularly notable areas of Mr Haq's expertise.
I found his manner to be very reassuring - his care 100% and his ability to lift my spirits after very serious surgery quite refreshing
HCA should be proud of the quality of patient staff. I was well looked after well by everyone. I sincerely hope reviews like this are picked up and the staff in question are praised DIRECTLY by MANAGEMENT (as I know that Mr Haq gives them feedback). All too often I see pictures of management and statements of values etc but the front facing staff don’t get the praise and recognition they deserve. I have full confidence in Mr Haq who gave me full confidence in the care and health actions throughout the process. I also single out Dr Robert Gardiner (spelling?) who showed quick thinking, attentiveness and high emotional intelligence when I was in the drop in clinic leading to hospital admission.
Mr Haq is very knowledgeable in his field, he really takes the time to explain things clearly. He never gave me the impression I had to hurry with my questions and gave me full attention for as long as I needed it. What impressed me most is that he and his team were equally prepared to deal with my mental state as my physical state. When I felt anxious, concerned or even panicky I felt listened to, validated and reassured.
Will on the appointment day then will give accurate details.
Mr Haq was very professional and clear in his explanations and took great care with my investigation
I had a bowel operation eight months ago where Dr. Haq removed about 15–16 cm of my small intestine. His care throughout was outstanding. He was attentive, professional, and consistently made sure I felt supported and informed. Any time I needed something, he was there without hesitation. My recovery has been excellent, and I’m extremely grateful for the level of care he provided. I highly recommend Dr. Haq.
I had a very good experience. Mr Asif Haq was professional, reassuring, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt very well cared for throughout my visit. Highly recommend.
I saw Mr Haq on time and I was very pleased how the consultation went. Mr Haq is a warm knowledgable man and understands how to interact with his patients really well.
I was introduced to Dr. Asif Haq by Dr. Nithish Narvekar for a colorectal opinion since my severe endometriosis involved complex adhesions to other organs. From the very first consultation, he was calm, patient, and extremely thorough in explaining my condition and treatment plan. The surgery was handled with great skill and precision, and my recovery has been smooth. I am very thankful to Dr. Haq and his team for their professionalism and care. I would confidently recommend him to anyone.
Mr Haq is a valued colleague and very well respected
