About Mr Alistair Angus Peyre Slesser
Mr Slesser is an experienced Robotic Consultant Colorectal surgeon undertaking a robotic practice in both the NHS and as well as the private sector.
Mr Slesser regularly performs robotic colorectal cancer surgery and has an interest in both open and robotic complex abdominal wall reconstructions. He is constantly improving his robotic hernia practice having visited european hernia centres and collaborates with American and European hernia experts. He routinely undertakes robotic groin hernia surgery as well as robotic surgery for most abdominal wall hernias. Mr Slesser is always striving to innovate and provide the very best surgery for his patients. He works closely with other specialists including in complex plastic surgical cases and gynaecological cases such as in complex endometriosis cases. He is the abdominal wall reconstruction lead for his NHS trust as well as the Specialty Clinical lead for Cancer.
In 2009, Mr Slesser achieved an MSc in Surgical Sciences from Imperial College London. In 2016, for his research focused on metastatic colorectal cancer-based at the Royal Marsden Hospital he was awarded a Doctorate by Imperial College London.
He is a honorary clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College, London.
