Mr. Mohammed Aldiwani is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust, where he leads a high-quality general and specialist urology service. He has sub-specialty expertise in robotic (Da Vinci) surgery for kidney cancers and complex renal conditions, as well as endourology, focusing on minimally invasive treatments for urinary stones and prostate issues. Mr. Aldiwani is also a key member of the cancer multidisciplinary team, managing patients with prostate and bladder cancers.
His comprehensive general urology practice covers a broad range of conditions, including urinary tract infections, haematuria, scrotal swellings, kidney cysts, prostate enlargement, kidney obstruction, and urological cancers, such as those of the kidney, bladder, prostate, and testis. Mr. Aldiwani provides personalised, attentive, and evidence-based care, ensuring that each patient is well-informed and supported throughout their treatment journey.
After graduating from the University of Manchester in 2010, Mr. Aldiwani completed his early training across Yorkshire and took international placements in Sydney and Cape Town. He undertook higher specialist training in London, including advanced techniques for benign prostatic enlargement, and received sub-specialist cancer training at the prestigious Royal Marsden Hospital. He was later awarded a Royal College of Surgeons-accredited fellowship in robotic renal surgery, during which he performed over 200 kidney operations, including 125 partial nephrectomies, placing him among the highest-volume robotic kidney surgeons in the UK during that time.
In addition to his clinical practice, Mr. Aldiwani is active in research, education, and clinical training. He has published multiple papers and presented internationally, and he holds lead roles in medical education at his NHS trust.

The highest possible rating is what I would give Mr Aldiwani. He was so thorough and able to support with a preventative solution focused approach. Appreciation of the kind professionalism I experienced, extends to his wider team, the radiology department and oncology nurses and his secretary who were all so accommodating. I felt so empowered to be able to trust the system of support. Thank you all so much!
I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Aldiwani. He has a very friendly approach and provides clear information. He guided me through the process in a very reassuring manner and also went above and beyond to help with what I needed.
I was worried about my condition several weeks after surgery. Dr Aldiwani was careful to reassure me that every thing was OK and that the wound was healing nicely

Although I wasn’t receiving the best news Dr Aldiwani was compassionate, thorough and spent time explaining things clearly and what the next steps would be. Extremely professional but with a human touch which is so important. Thank you!
Very pleased with Mr Aldiwani care and treatment. He is very professional, took time to fully explain and answer my questions and concerns.
It was a pleasure. Thank you
I consider my recent visit to have been excellent in both technical and personal support and advice
Many thanks for your review
Mr Aldiwani figured out the underlying cause of infrequent hydroceles that I have been experiencing over recent years. He was extremely professional throughout the process and always took the time to fully explain the reasoning behind his conclusions, which I appreciated given the little medical knowledge that I have. I would like to thank him for helping me get to the bottom of this issue and cannot recommend him enough for any urology related concerns.
Thank you for your kind words
The day I was in for my operation the staff and eneathatists, doctors , nurses were wonderful to me and the aftercare staff were also wonderful. The only thing I could complain about was the letter they sent me was for the hospital was the wrong hospital instead of pinderfields, we were sent to the hospital in Castleford, so wasn't a good start so who was responsible for that I don't no
