Miss Stella Ivaz

Miss Ivaz provided reassurance and encouragement at a time when it was badly needed. Stella went out of her way to deliver a support plan when there wasn’t one in place - this dedicated and compassionate approach enabled me and my family to fully understand the issues and the journey to recovery.

I have been seeing Miss Stella Ivaz the past couple of months. She is uber professional and a true expert in her field of Urology! She is very thorough and such a clear communicator at all times, during what can be quite personal issues. In addition, what also stands out for me personally, is that Miss Ivaz has an excellent bed side manner, good humoured and very empathetic, qualities which can be hard to find these days. I highly recommend Miss Ivaz without question.

Miss Ivaz made me feel entirely at ease despite the topic being sensitive and extremely private. I felt more able to discuss my condition openly than I have during previous discussions with other urologists. Miss Ivaz was able to explain medical issues and treatment options very clearly. I would not hesitate to revisit Miss Ivaz if the need were to arise.

The aquablation procedure was much better than I had initially feared. With any procedure relating to that part of the body you are naturally apprehensive but the procedure was very efficient and it didn’t take me very long to recover at all. I am younger than the average male going through this procedure but it was recommended as my urine flow was poor and it would only get worse as time passed. Secondary impacts on my bladder may also have happened later on if I hadn’t had it done. My urine flow is now significantly better and I can now approach old age with the knowledge that at least one part of my body is functioning correctly. I would certainly recommend getting this done when you notice a restricted urine flow rather than waiting for it to become a major issue.
