It has been such a pleasure and privilege to have Miss Tross as the surgeon for my total knee replacement operation. The operation itself went extremely well. Her explanations of what was involved were very clear, and I have enjoyed the times I have met her both before and more recently after the op.

I had developed the inability to put weight on my left leg. Miss Tross, carefully examined me and had Xrays taken. She listened carefully and was very clear in her statements. She recommended I have a steroid injection in the hip, which might give useful relief for an unspecified time period, or might not. She recommended a radiologist, but indicated that, if the injection was not successful, she would be prepared to carry out a hip replacement operation . I made an appointment for the injection a week later.

Hospital very efficient and swift. Very positive and useful appointment confirming how I should take care of my knee. Delightful consultant with gentle helpful manner. Delighted to know that I can keep going as long as I don’t do anything which alerts me with pain, and hope knee support will give me confidence on the tennis court. Definitely give Miss Tross a star! (Or five stars depending which method of award is used.)

On my first visit to Miss Tross, I felt reassured by her quiet confidence and was convinced that she would do her very best for me. At every stage she explained everything very clearly and was extremely kind and professional in all aspects of my treatment. But what impressed me most was that when I was leaving hospital after successful surgery, Miss Tross thanked me for choosing her to do my surgery.

I can honestly say, that this was probably one of the best paediatric experiences that I’ve had. My son is 17 years old. Not only was that warmth and professionalism there was empathy and understanding.

From the very first consultation, Miss Tross made me feel at ease and genuinely seemed concerned about getting to the bottom of my issues. She is easy to talk to and very professional. She explains everything in detail and very carefully. I would definitely recommend seeing her if you have any issues with your hips.
