About Mr Mazin Ibrahim

He has completed two fellowships in lower limb arthroplasty and sports surgery: the first at the renowned Rorabeck Bourne Arthroplasty Centre, part of the London Health
Sciences Centre in Ontario, Canada; and the second at London's University College Hospital.
Mr Ibrahim is also a substantive lower limb arthroplasty and sports surgery consultant at the Whittington Health and the University College London Hospitals NHS Trust joint venture. He has published many research studies and book chapters, and has presented his work in the academic arena. He is passionate about teaching, and has a postgraduate degree in Medical Education from Staffordshire University. He is on the faculty for several courses, including at the Royal College of Surgeons.

I underwent ACL reconstruction with meniscus repairs under the care of Mr Mazin Ibrahim, and I am now around 9–10 weeks post-surgery. From my first consultation through to surgery and follow-up, I found Mr Ibrahim to be highly professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring. He explained my diagnosis and treatment options clearly, took the time to answer questions, and never made me feel rushed. The surgical plan was well explained, and the procedure itself went smoothly. Post-operatively, my knee has been stable, and my recovery has progressed as expected with no complications so far. Mr Ibrahim demonstrated strong expertise in knee surgery and a calm, confident manner that gave me trust in the process. I felt well supported throughout, and the communication between himself, the hospital team, and physiotherapy was excellent.

Mr Ibrahim is an amazing consultant that has an excellent bedside manner. I always felt heard during my consultantions and he presented options to me in a clear manner, setting realistic expectations about potential outcomes.
It was very quick and easy to get an appointment with Mr Ibrahim, he explained everything really clearly and booked me in for an MRI scan the same day. Once he got the results we had a Zoom call and he diagnosed the problem and referred me for treatment immediately. Overall I was very happy with the entire process. Mr Ibrahim is a lovely gentleman.
