Mr Krishna Boddu

Mr. Krishna Boddu is a highly skilled Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialisation in complex hip and knee arthroplasty. 

Mr Boddu completed his postgraduate training in orthopaedic surgery at PGIMER, Chandigarh, which is renowned as one of India's leading medical institutions. His passion for orthopaedic surgery led him to pursue research in orthopaedic biomechanics at Imperial College, London.

During his registrar training in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, Mr. Boddu gained valuable experience in Southeast London hospitals. He further developed his expertise through fellowship training at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in Montreal and King's College Hospital in London, focusing on primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty surgery.

Mr. Krishna Boddu's clinical practice centres on providing comprehensive care for individuals with hip and knee arthritis. He specialises in performing various hip and knee procedures, including primary, complex, and revision hip arthroplasty/replacement, as well as primary, complex, and revision knee arthroplasty/replacement. Additionally, Mr. Boddu offers unicompartmental/partial knee replacement and is skilled in knee arthroscopy, a minimally invasive procedure for diagnosing and treating knee conditions. He is known for his expertise in using smaller incisions for hip replacements, which contributes to faster recovery and rehabilitation for his patients.

Mr. Boddu has a strong interest in research and has published 17 research papers in peer-reviewed orthopaedic journals. He has presented 34 papers at national and international orthopaedic meetings. He has served as a reviewer for the Bone and Joint Journal and participated as a faculty member in FRCS (Tr and Orth) courses.
