Ms El Kafsi highly professional in all respects. I’m feeling very confident post-surgery. She visited me twice shortly after surgery and called me twice over the next couple of days whilst in hospital. The second time was especially helpful as she’d researched my medical records which helped explain symptoms.

I can honestly say Ms El Kafsi is one of the kindest, most knowledgeable and helpful doctors that I have ever been treated by. She is open, honest and pragmatic, and I feel completely at ease knowing she is overseeing my care.

Ms El Kafsi treated me for Achalasia in 2023 and has remained in contact ever since to monitor my symptoms. Not being able to swallow & keep food down is a stressful experience especially when it's been going on for a while. Jihène put me at ease from the very first moment I met her, she explained what was happening to my body in a way that allowed me to adjust my diet and the way I ate which made an immediate difference to my symptoms. She explained the process of confirming my diagnosis, even taking the time to be present during the Manometry test. Life since the Hellers Myotomy surgery, performed by Jihène has been like night & day; there will always be occasional issues, that's just the nature of Achalasia, but 99.9% of my problems are gone and I could never thank her enough for that. Never once did I feel like I was just another patient, Jihène truly cares and I know if my symptoms flare up again, she'll be there to help.

Doctor provided me with few options and was very accomodating to my needs and lifestyle. My experience was very positive. The care I received at Wexham Park Hospital was excellent. I was kept informed at all stages as to the procedure. The staff were accommodating and caring. Doctor El Kafsi explained the procedure well, she came to see me quickly when I arrived and called me after surgery to see how I was. The unit I was in was very organised and very clean and my every need was met. The surgery went well and my recovery has been very good. With the advice from Doctor El Kafsi i have been able to take things slowly and adjust my eating accordingly which has really helped with my recovery and my confidence. Doctor El Kafsi has always supported me and answered any questions I had. She is very knowledgable in her field of work. She is caring and was very efficient when putting in place any next steps required, ie further tests, clinic appointments. Those next steps were put in place quickly during my whole journey and she met me regularly for check-ins after each test I had. I was nervous before the procedure and now realise that I didn’t need to be as I was in very good hands and I would recommend Doctor El Kafsi to anybody considering this procedure.
