Dr Jayshri Shah consistently demonstrates a professional and clear approach during patient interactions, excelling at explaining complex medical information and various procedures such as endoscopy. She provides thorough investigations and diagnosis, often offering reassurance and listening to patient concerns. Some patients mention a perception of a less friendly or empathetic manner. Key themes across reviews also include effective management of gastroenterology, liver function tests, and stomach or abdominal pain.
Dr Jayshri Shah spoke clearly and I heard everything she spoke to me about.
I would have preferred a face to face consultation
Apologies you have not received F2F appointment. I am her secretary ,please let me know if I can help in anyway , I would like to understand why you were not offered your F2F appointment. As a policy Dr Shah usually sees all first appointments F2F and subsequent follow up is as per patient choice
An assuring and professional experience
Thank you for your kind feedback.
Attentive and thorough care received. Pitt that Benenden policy prevents sharing of imaging results so that another professional caring for patient can compare notes. Resulted in 1 month delay with MEI brain which required further investigation by CT when ENT specialist went on leave for a month and sane with CT abdo as follow up appointment planned alnost a month after test and had to be under care of another specialist abroad. The Secretary catehorically refused to send report citing Policy. Not the Doctor's fault but when Drs cantl't follow up for a month, reports should be shared.
Thank you for this valuable feedback. This be fed back to the secretaries as well to avoid delay in future
Good listening and explaining how to manage my symptoms through diet, water intake, managing stress and stopping medication that adds to problems.
My consultant and treatment was excellent although getting output through to the correct department was time consuming. Also the support nurses struggled to take blood and was only successful on the fourth nurse’s attempt after a wait of over three hours. The Dr explained everything very carefully and was excellent during my follow up appointment.
Understood my condition, clearly explained my plan going forward. Conveyed results from my treatment clearly
Dr Shah was Clear, Concise and respectful towards me, I was treated very well.
It provided reassurance that my recent investigations were clear and the ongoing advice was helpful
Jayshri superb colleague with excellent skills. I would recommend her for any liver disease as I feel my patients are safe in her hands
