Overall experience was very good I was looked after on the day of my operation and Mr Ho explained everything very clearly. Thank you for taking care of me and for saving my eye.
I am extremely happy with Mr. Ho's professionalism and the results of my cataract procedures. Mr. Ho is an excellent communicator with a very calm (and calming) demeanor, and helped me decide on which lenses to opt for, what goals to aim for, and what to expect based on a variety of options. Throughout the procedures he communicated with me and made sure they were as stressless as possible. I now see better than I have seen in many years, and am able to read, work on my computer, and see long distance with no glasses. Thank you Mr. Ho!
Mr Ho was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly to me. I was an emergency appointment and appreciate him fitting me in for assessment and also the operation the same day.
4 weeks after undergoing Cataract surgery (with a different practitioner) I suddenly experienced a large increase in floaters in my vision. I was referred to see Mr Ho who saw me on the same day. After examining my eye Mr Ho advised that I needed to have urgent Retinal Detachment surgery and booked me in for the procedure on the same day. Naturally this was a worrying sequence of events for me, however Mr Ho was able to help make me feel very relaxed through his clear and calm approach. The procedure went very well and has been a great success! Throughout my recovery Mr Ho has maintained close contact and has been available at anytime if I have needed some advice on how to manage the recovery period. Nothing has been too much trouble, Mr Ho has kept me informed throughout.
I saw Mr Ho following some concerns I had with one of my eyes after cataract surgery carried out by a different surgeon. Mr Ho was very thorough in his approach and identified that I had some tears in my retina which needed repairing fairly urgently. He performed a vitrectomy (retina repair) the same day and following a few weeks recovery my eye is now fully healed. I can't recommend Mr Ho enough, his manner with patients is excellent, he fully informs you as to what he plans to do and why and his aftercare is excellent. I'm very glad I engaged him when I had a problem with my eye and wish I'd had him do the cataract surgery in the first place.
Mr Ho continues to remain extremely professional. I appreciated how he answered my questions, providing clear instructions for follow-up care, which helped alleviate any anxiety I had about my recovery process. Overall, I felt supported and cared for throughout my visit.
I recently had cataract surgery carried out by Mr J Ho, and I would like to share my wonderful experience. From the very beginning, his advice about the operation, the type of contact lens, and the value of the replacement lens was absolutely perfect for me. The cataract has now been removed, and my vision is 100% improved. I am completely satisfied with the results. I would also like to thank Mr Ho and the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital for their excellent pre- and post-operative care. They were professional, kind, and reassuring throughout the whole process. Before the surgery, I was quite apprehensive about having an operation on my eye. However, the procedure was painless and very quick. This has given me much more confidence, and I am now looking forward to having my other eye operated on in the New Year. Overall, I am extremely grateful for the care and excellent work carried out by Mr Ho and his team.
Mr Ho is one of the most thorough and skilled retinal specialist I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I refer patients to him without hesitation, knowing they will get timely, and excellent care.
