Dr James Wilson was exceptional. Kind, considerate and explained everything clearly. I couldn’t have wished for a better consultation.

Dr James Wilson made what could have been a difficult meeting so delightfully easy. Without drama he explained exactly what was going to be the treatment and very clearly he described the possible side effects. I feel I am in very safe hands and cannot wait to see him again.

After being diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancel that had spread to my lungs, I found James as I was frustrated at the lack of options for treatment I was being offered by the NHS in Scotland. James was extremely professional and approachable throughout my treatment with him, and after initially clarifying the spread of the disease, went above and beyond to come up with a treatment plan for me. He was an advocate for me to push for treatment that generally would not be an option. He was able to secure treatment that for me that I had been previously told was not available, and working with colleagues, has offered me a treatment that best fitted my needs. Whilst it is early days, the treatment so far has been positive, and without James' help I am not sure where I would have been. I will forever be in James' debt for the way he listened to me, pushed for the best treatment available and provided an excellent service both before, during and after treatment. Whilst I am in no way out of the woods in terms of my cancer, for the first time since my Stage 4 diagnosis, I have some positivity in my life and this is largely down to James and his team and the care I received. I self paid for my treatment with James, and whilst there was a cost to the treatment, the value he provided far exceeds this. I would highly recommend James to anyone needing similar treatment.

Clear explanation on scan results

I arrived to the Harley Street clinic confused, concerned and rather stressed having been diagnosed with lung cancer and with the journey from South Wales. After just 5 minutes of sitting with Dr James Wilson I felt completely reassured and well 'joyful' at knowing my cancer is curable , to be told not to worry and that 'we need to make you well again' was what I needed to hear, I admit to welling up in tears of joy. I'm looking forward toy treatment!

Dr Wilson is always very approachable and he helps in any ways that he can, he pays attention to every little details and he is always very thorough in his assessment and recommending "the next step" . He is a.great Doctor and a very nice person too. He has got a.good Team working with him, they too are top professionals and friendly and always happy to help!!
