From the initial consultation to the final diagnosis, Dr. Mogal's care has been exemplary. Here is a breakdown of why: 1. Exceptional Communication and Clarity: · He took the time to explain complex scan results (like the consolidation and nodules) in a way that was easy to understand. · He openly discussed all options (watchful waiting, antibiotics, or bronchoscopy), clearly outlining the pros, cons, and his recommendation, which allowed me to make an informed decision without pressure. · He provided detailed, written information about the bronchoscopy procedure, including risks, preparation, and aftercare, which eliminated surprises and reduced anxiety. 2. Thorough, Step-by-Step Investigation: · He didn't jump to conclusions. Instead, he designed a logical plan: · Started with a full review of all existing scans and history. · Ordered comprehensive blood tests to rule out systemic causes. · Recommended the precise diagnostic tool (bronchoscopy with washings) needed to get a definitive answer for my specific lung finding. · He coordinated the procedure seamlessly at the Clementine Churchill Hospital, ensuring consultant anaesthetist support for safety and comfort. 3. Proactive and Effective Treatment: · Even before final results were in, he started empirical antibiotics to begin treating the most likely cause, showing proactive care. · Upon receiving the interim microbiology result (identifying Staphylococcus aureus), his likely plan to switch to a targeted antibiotic (Flucloxacillin) demonstrates an efficient, evidence-based approach to ensure a full cure. 4....

I have been under Dr Mogal’s care for over a year with a complex set of respiratory issues. His care and attention has saved me a lot of unnecessary surgeries and his team are readily available to support my enquiries. Overall a top service.
Dr Mogal is polite, friendly and is willing to explain everything very clearly, so that I can understand my care and what he’s thinking. He explained how I should use my nasal sprays and inhalers, telling me what the maximum doses of each are and now they work in my body.
Patient, took time to explain everything & answer all of my questions fully across multiple consultations..
