He performs detailed examinations, offering clear explanations for neurological conditions, diagnoses, and treatment options. Me and my wife visited Dr.John O’Dwyer for follow up appointments. Without his help and expertise we would not have recovered fully. We are eternally grateful for his service, support, dedication and commitment to always have the best interests of the patient at the forefront of his care and treatment. It’s been always a pleasure meeting such an amazing specialist with great compassion and kindness.
Dr O’Dwyer completed a thorough history and examination. He provided his assessment with evidence and clear information. Very happy with my appointment
Dr O’Dwyer combined professionalism with humanity and humour. He went through at times quite technical detail in an easily digestible and reassuring manner.
Dr O,Dwyer listened to my concerns and gave me options for available treatment where it was appropriate
I was highly impressed with Dr Dwyers professionalism and bedside Manner. He listened and noted everything, never making you feel like you were wasting time. He then carried out a thorough investigation/examination, always willing to explain what he was doing and for what reason. I felt totally at ease and confident.
I visited Dr O’Dwyer for seizures that had been misdiagnosed as panic attack attacks for many years. I felt that he was the first doctor in 30 years to actually listen to me having been completely let down by the NHS. He is a very kind man, really listens, and doesn’t rush you so you have plenty of time for your brain to remember all of the relevant details. He was very thorough, read all of my notes that I had sent through, asked sensible questions and treat treated me like an equal human being. There is so much more I could say but he is a 10 out of 10 doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who has any neurological problems.
John is an eminent colleague who I have worked with over the years. He always has the best interests at heart for his patients and is professional and knowledgeable. He is a highly skilled neurologist with a wealth of expertise who I would recommend to my patients, family members or colleagues.
