Professor Hendrik-Tobias Arkenau

Professor Tobias Arkenau is a renowned Consultant Medical Oncologist with HCA Healthcare at numerous locations including The LOC, The Harley Street Clinic, The Princess Grace and The Wellington Hospital.

He is the founding Medical Director of the Sarah Cannon Research Institute UK and has a wide range of experience in a variety of cancers, particularly gastrointestinal and skin cancers.

He was awarded his medical degree from Hanover Medical School in Germany in 2000. Following this, he completed his specialist training in oncology across numerous centres of excellence including the Royal Marsden Hospital. He was awarded a Fellowship by the Royal College of Physicians, and he is a key opinion leader in his field of Gastrointestinal Cancers, Drug Development and Immunotherapy for his research contributions to his field. During his career, he has published numerous peer reviewed articles and book chapters and contributes regularly at international meetings such as ASCO, ESMO and AACR.
