I met Dr Siva in hospital in the 24-hours after my elective-surgery. Dr Siva clearly explained her concerns about my medical condition, set out a plan of action to address those concerns and addressed the outcomes from those actions. That included addressing a personal concern related to family history that was only incidental to my immediate medical condition, for which I was particularly grateful. Follow-up letter was also helpful and clear.
Dr Siva was most sympathetic to my concerns re my Knee operation.. She paid a lot of attention to my anxiety over having to having a General Anesthetic and understood my concerns. After my operation she kept in touch with my recovery, and was most diligently attentive to how I was feeling. Altogether a veyr reassuring manner and concerned with my recovery progress.
I was much clearer about the hip operation I am due to have soon, very grateful to her
Dr Siva was very professional during my visit and went beyond the care normally expected when my Blood pressure went dangerously high and personally accompanied me to a different clinic to get further tests even though it was 6.30PM in the evening. Following this impromtu visit Dr Siva continued with my care with utmost care and respect. I would highly recommend Dr. Siva.
I was pleased with your very thorough assessment of my condition and a full discussion about treatment options
Perfect comprehension and clearly understood. Felt totally at ease and Dr Siva’s considerate manner left me in a good place. The follow up the next day brought my procedure to a perfect close. I do so much appreciate sound advice and explanations from a very professional motivated source.
I cannot praise the clinical and communicational skills of De Sivapathasuntharam highly enough. As for the former, her expert grasp of an enormous range of practical and therapeutic understanding is extradinorary. The same applies to the latter, always accompied with both balanced advice and encouragement. Equally, in this regard, she exhibits both empathy and compasionate advice when required, always balanced with clarity about her professional role in the doctor-patient relationship. Finally, while one of her specialisations is geriatrics - in which she excells - this description too narrowly restricts her abilitiies in general medicine for all ages.
She is awesome. So caring and friendly on top of her explaining in detail.
The most engaging of doctors and clearly both accomplished and committed. My consultation with her was a pleasure. Her explanation of my condition and the results of my Dexa scan was clear and concise and her attention to the concerns I voiced was second to none.
I was recommended by my consultant to Dr Sivapathasuntharam following knee surgery. I saw her the next day. She undertook a full examination and suggested what the problem was, which turned out to be exactly correct. She could do this from her wide experience, confirmed by several blood tests. She was extremely helpful and saved a lot of time wondering what was the source of my problem. I am very grateful to her.
Dhanu has a unique and wide reaching knowledge of general and elderly medicine, and elderly complex trauma care. She is compassionate and committed, and does everything she can to achieve good outcomes for her patients.
