About Professor Arjun K Ghosh
Professor Arjun K Ghosh is a Professor of Cardiology and Consultant Cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew's Hospital, and University College London Hospital.
Dr Ghosh is trained in all areas of general cardiology, as well as cardiac imaging. Completing a level 3 accreditation in cardiac MRI and imaging of the internal parts of the heart through the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging, Dr Ghosh also is skilled in transoesophageal echocardiograms.
Dr Ghosh is a compassionate expert of patients with cancer who are experiencing heart problems simultaneously. At Barts Heart Centre and University College London Hospitals, Dr Ghosh established cardiac services of cancer patients, which has now become one of the biggest services in the UK.
He completed his MSc in Medical Education with Distinction from University College London and the Royal College of Physicians. He is responsible for the training of heart failure and imaging at Barts Heart Centre at the Royal Society of Medicine.
Dr Ghosh's passion for research shows through his projects in Cardio-Oncology. He achieved a PhD from Imperial College London. Presenting his work at national and international conferences, Dr Ghosh also displayed his work at the Houses of Parliament.

I have been under the care of Dr Ghosh on and off over 3 years. My experience with him has always exceeded my expectations.His manner is calm, kind and compassionate. He just gets it. I come out of his consultations reassured with a clear plan. He has been amazing. A special Thank You to his PA Jaishree Patel, friendly, open, listens and goes above and beyond each time.
Although consult was held via TELCON, I felt it was as effective with my face to face interface with Dr. Ghosh. He opened the consult with the results of my MRI, ECG and BLOOD TEST, discussed how the results relate with each other, treatment options and follow-ip sulotions and future face to face visit. He also methodically reviewed and Claire’s the name, dosage and frequency of my medications and recommended slight changes moving forward. Dr. Ghosh is perhaps the most impressive Cardio-oncologist I have ever associated with and told him, it probably hard to find another expert in California or anywhere else in states who’s equal to his expertise when I’m repatriated back from London next year.
Everything about my consultation and follow up was excellent. I rate Dr Gosh very highly and he took the time to check my understanding and answer any questions.
Professional and efficient service. Very impressive administration support ensuring speedy access to diagnostics and results. Very nice consultant who was approachable and was an excellent communicator.

Overall very good indeed from the moment I met the receptionist -she (apologies I didn't get her name) fight through to when I left it was a very good and very positive experience.
