She completed her medical degree at Sapienza University of Rome, Italy in 2008 followed by her Gastroenterology Degree at the same university in 2014. She later moved to the UK and completed her training at St George's Hospital, London. She completed several fellowships, including a fellowship in inflammatory bowel disease at Guy's & St Thomas' Hospital and a fellowship in endoscopy at St Mark's Hospital. She also has experience working in leading hospitals in France and Japan
She became registered as a specialist in gastroenterology by the General Medical Council (UK) in 2016. She has worked in several teaching hospitals, both private and public. Her main clinical interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and prevention of colon cancer.
