Dr Ahmed Elghamaz

Dr. Ahmed Elghamaz is a Consultant Cardiologist with many years of experience in the treatment and management of general cardiology issues including coronary heart disease, palpitations, investigation of chest pains, hypertension, arrhythmia, and myocardial infarction. He also specialises in chronic total occlusions and complex coronary intervention. He sees private patients at the London Clinic.

Dr. Elghamaz earned his primary medical qualification at Cairo University in 1996, after which he came to the UK to complete his basic and advanced training in cardiology and coronary intervention in London. Upon completion of his training, Dr. Elghamaz was appointed Consultant at Northwick Park Hospital. He has also become renowned for his contribution to the field of cardiology, by developing numerous techniques to improve the assessment of fractional flow reserve. Since his Consultant appointment, Dr. Elghamaz has become Coronary Intervention Lead and also leads research on the topic, and has also given talks at national and international cardiology conferences.
