I felt confident that Mr Patrini acted in my best interests at all times. He was clear and patient in explaining the medical issues and treatment needed.
I first met Mr Petrine after being diagnosed with lung cancer. The meeting was to discuss the way forward and options available to me. The choices were surgery, chemotherapy and immunotherapy. From the beginning Mr Petrine was very honest with me and highlighted the pros and cons of each option due to pre existing health conditions. Surgery had certain risks involved, but Mr Petrini gave me the confidence to decide that I wanted surgery. Six days after meeting Mr Petrini I had the surgery and I am pleased to say due to his impeccable skills the operation was a great success. After surgery Mr Petrini contacted my wife with updates and she was also able to have direct contact with him if there was any concerns that may have arisen during my recovery. I have no hesitation to highly recommend Mr Petrini.
Mr Patrini is not only an excellent surgeon, but also an excellent and sympathetic communicator who really went out of his way to support and explain at all stages of my diagnosis and treatment -- at one point even calling me while he was abroad on holiday.
I found Mr Patrini to be a wonderful surgeon. He explained the procedure thoroughly, outlining both the benefits and risks, and never attempted to persuade me one way or the other, leaving the decision entirely up to me. Before the operation, he once again went through the procedure and potential risks, answering all my questions as well as those of my husband and daughter. Following the operation, he spoke with my husband to explain how it went, and I also saw him personally afterwards. He visited me again on Wednesday and Thursday morning, examined me, and answered all of my questions in full. In addition, he kept my husband updated directly. In conclusion, I would describe Mr Patrini as a conscientious, patient-centred surgeon who combines clarity with genuine care.
I would 100% recommend Mr Patrini to anyone. I was referred to Mr Patrini by my respiratory consultant for a diagnosis which required immediate surgery and was a frightening time for me. From start to finish he explained everything about the procedure openly and clearly and both him and his secretary were so friendly, helpful and available throughout, at any time for all the questions I had and for reassurance both beforehand and all the way to diagnosis. He has a lovely, calming and professional way with him that made me feel very comfortable.
Mr Pratini gave me 100% confidence from the mini Ute j met him. He explained everything so that I could understand what was to be done in my operation. A really nice man with humour and down to earth approach. First class surgeon and person.
great bedside manners. Extremely knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful and caring
Wonderful bed side manor . Knowledgeable and reassuring. I’m 💯 delighted with results of my surgery
My husband, the patient, my daughter and I met Mr. Patrini at a very distressing time. We were referred to Mr. Patrini by a Respiratory Physician who had diagnosed my 89 year old husband with lung cancer. From the moment we met Mr. Patrini we felt confident in the man. He assured us he would remove the cancer using the most non-invasive methods available and would give my husband the best chance to continue the life he led up to then. He certainly lived up to his word and was always available to support all of us all the time.
Mr Patrini is a well respected chest surgeon with a wealth of knowledge and a reputation for providing great service to his patients
