She cares for patients with breast cancer who present with symptoms, recalled through screening or from a high-risk family background. As an oncoplastic surgeon, Miss Lobo combines the latest plastic surgery techniques with advanced breast cancer surgery to deliver optimal cancer treatment alongside excellent cosmetic results. She works with her dedicated multidisciplinary team of specialist nurses, radiologists, oncologists, anaesthetists and operating theatre staff to deliver the highest standard of care.

When I got my mammogram diagnosis, it was a lot to digest… know who best to turn to for advice, second opinion, treatment and what my future would look like… I contacted Miss Lobo’s PA Joanne, who eased me into my first appointment and ongoing journey. Miss Lobo instantly gave me a reassurance of what needed to be done. And dependant on results…. What each outcome would involve. She made me feel calm, and safe. With her knowledge, experience and professionalism…. my treatment was exactly as her explanation given. Treatment now completed… Truly thankful….
Miss Cheryl Lobo was extremely professional, caring and went out of her way to help me schedule the surgery sooner than expected. I had a great experience.
Miss Lobo is the perfect consultant. She tells you in a clear, matter of fact and always kind way what is happening. She is both professional and caring in everything she says and does. She also has a fabulous line in shoes!
I couldn't reccomend Miss Cheryl Lobo highly enough. She held my hand from start to finish. It is pretty daunting getting a positive breast cancer diagnosis but Cheryl not only explained and reassured me at every stage but also advised me on how to broach everything with the family. Obviously the first concern is removing the cancer but as a women, you then start thinking about aesthetics and how you will feel after the surgery. Cheryl's surgery was incredible - she removed the tumour and then moved the tissue around so that my breast looks exactly as it did. She stitched me around the ripples and I do not have any scar on my breast whatsoever in fact the only small scar is under my armpit where some lymph nodes were removed. If you're reading this then I'm sorry you have to go through the ordeal of breast cancer. But if you do, Cheryl Lobo is incredible.
I came to see Cheryl after a recent diagnosis of Stage 1 breast cancer. I was incredibly impressed with her considered approach to my treatment options. She was very clear in explaining to me what the possibilities were, and what further information she needed to reach a conclusion as to treatment. I ultimately had a mastectomy which Cheryl performed and which went incredibly well. I felt at all times that I was in exceptionally good hands and I really valued Cheryl’s expertise and her engagement with me throughout this process.
Ms Lobo is friendly & relaxed yet explains what is happening very clearly. I had a very good feeling as soon as I met her that she would look after me well.
Miss Lobo has been nothing short of exceptional with me, every step of the way, during the most challenging time in my life. She made sure I got the full diagnosis incredibly quickly, referred me to the best oncologist immediately so I could get my treatment plan, reassuring me I was in the best hands. Post chemotherapy she then operated on me, and the result - aesthetically as well - is simply outstanding. She is both a consummate professional and a very caring person - anyone under her care is lucky.
Miss Lobo is an exceptional surgeon. Her care, compassion, professionalism and warmth are second to none. I am grateful for her expertise and the success of the surgery. I will always stay with her, even after the current treatment is over, for annual check ups etc.
As always Miss Lobo was professional, clear and reassuring.
I had a mastectomy and was operated on by Ms. Cheryl Lobo. After being treated by the NHS, I decided to have a second consultation with Ms. Lobo, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. She was recommended to me by an acquaintance who described her as one of the best oncologists in the UK. Four months after my surgery, I can fully confirm this. Her sensitivity and professionalism have given me the confidence and strength to face the procedure in the best possible mental state. I will forever be grateful to her.
