About Mr Asef Al-Ani
Mr. Alani is a consultant spinal orthopaedic surgeon, with dual spinal fellowship training. His spinal & orthopaedic training was at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore, as well as Guys & St. Thomas Hospitals London. Mr. Alani has more than 20 years experience in the NHS. He treats all spinal conditions, including degenerative spinal disease, spinal tumours, trauma, as well as deformity. Mr. Alani has been awarded the Minimally Invasive & Navigated Spine fellowship from The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London. His training has enabled him to carry out microscopic spinal surgery, to facilitate early recovery and decrease post operative pain.
Mr. Alani is part of the eGlobal international surgeons’ network and receives patients from all over the world.
Multidisciplinary team work is at the core of Mr. Alani’s patient centered practice. This coupled with his training and experience, enables him to deliver excellent up to date care. Mr Asef Al-Ani was very professional and approachable during my consultations. He listened to my history and provided a clear explanation of the tests he conducted and explanation of my MRI results. My results did not need further treatment by Mr Asef Al-Ani but he has referred me for further physiotherapy which I am happy is the right course of action.
Mr Al-Ani was welcoming and empathetic. I have been unfortunate with health of spine but extremely fortunate having him as my spinal consultant. This was my third meeting with Asef over a period of 3 years and each time he makes you feel valued as a Perón and is completely efficient organising investigations and taking the results forward to treatment if necessary. Mr Asef Al -Ani is a great professional and excellent communicator, he was very detailed in his examination and summary of findings outlining the varying options available. He is also very punctual working to his appointments I would not look to visit anyone else
During my consultation visits Mr. Al-Ani had a very caring and positive manner regarding the medical condition to be treated.
Mr Al Ani is an amazing professional. He is very personable and so so experienced and knowledgeable. He explained what the medical condition of my back was and why it has occurred and what can be done to remediate the pain. I feel so much better following my injections and all the attention given by the medical staff on the day of my procedure. Mr Al-Ani’s PA, Anoushka has been great too.
