Recent visit involved a post surgery review. Surgeon was patient, understanding and clear as to next steps. Only issue was that it should have been a teams call but surgeon technical issues meant it was only a phone call.

Mr Vasan is a highly professional and skilled consultant. I was under his care for surgery for a spinal dural arteriovenous fistula. I found his communication clear and concise. He was always willing to answer any questions and concerns in a considered and thoughtful way.Additionally, I found him very caring post surgery and with follow up consultations.

From the start of coming in I was informed every step of the way with what was happening and what options were open to me, nothing was to much trouble. My family was thought of as well as myself enabling them to feel that I was in good care and knew I was being looked after. Mr Ahilan Kailaya-Vasan and his team showed the upmost professionalism, care and kindness in what was a traumatic and frightening experience. I felt confident with himself and his team who I feel saved my life. No words can express how grateful I am.

I recently had neurosurgery for the clipping of anyeresms under Mr. Ahilan Kailaya-Vasan and his fantastic team at King's. I was absolutely terrified at the prospect of surgery and having a general anesthetic. I need not have worried as from my first appointment it was very clear that I was in safe hands. I cannot praise him and the team enough, I am so grateful that I was under their expert care. I was shown care and compassion from the very beginning and throughout the whole experience, I was treated with respect, understanding and patience by Mr. Kailaya-Vasan and his wonderful team. They made what was a very traumatic time for my family and I, as smooth as possible. I just cannot thank them enough. I came through the surgery very well thankfully, Sarah my anesthetist took fantastic care of me all the way through and as I was so nervous Mr. Kailaya Vasan made sure we spoke beforehand too, so I had great confidence in the team, Dervika was also fantastic. From my very first appointment with Jon to my surgery, I am so grateful to each and everyone of them, although i don't know all of them by name they all played a part and I would like to thank each of them for their kindness, compassion and expertise. These heroes wear scrubs instead of capes! We're very fortunate to be blessed with them!

I have had a really good experience. Nothing was too much for any of the staff involved. Mr. Vasan is most helpful and has explained things to me along the way. With his expertise and the helpfulness of his Private medical secretary Rosée J have nothing but praise for the team.
