After suffering with constant pins and needles and back pain and for some months receiving physiotherapy and pain killers with no affect I wanted to try acupuncture. I was so lucky and grateful to be assigned Deepa. She was professional and understanding to my problem and she is extremely experienced and skilled. After just a few treatments and a simple exercise plan my pain has subsided and I have no pins and needles. Deepa has improved my quality of life as I no longer need to take pain killers, and I feel more balanced. I feel acupuncture works on a number of levels and is powerfully healing under Deepa’s caring professionalism.

My nurse Mouna was brilliant. She cared for me before and after my procedure, and felt safe and confident, which was really helpful when I felt quite vulnerable. She also brought me extra ice-cream and made me smile after I woke up from my procedure, and these things made me feel cared for. Thank you. My anaesthetist (a lovely lady whose name I can't remember) was exceptional. She came to see me before the procedure, because she knew I was nervous, and was really reassuring. She took my mind off my anxiety, and was so caring and gentle, which really helped me to stay calm and feel safe. Thank you.

The care I received at the Clinic in the ICU department as well as the Gastro intestinal Department and ward, on the first floor, during my 7 days stay to remove a tumour near my stomach, was amazing. I felt everyday more than just a patient. Each nurse went way and beyond their duties to keep my morale high, my pain low, making me at ease, and pushing me in a gentle way to recovery. The professionalism together with the empathy, friendliness and humour when needed; of all the nurses, catering and cleaning teams helped me through a fast and gentle recovery. Having stayed here for 5 nights, I found the Clinic's services extremely good. The people were amazing, I felt looked after, cared for and importantly valued. The services extended to me were very well thought perfectly professional. The nursing was very good and very attentive. My only criticism, I did think the décor could do with updating though and another lift would be welcome when busy, as these first impressions reflect what a patient is thinking to expect. but gladly aside from these observations, my experience in care was near perfect.

This time around, my experience with the London Clinic was marred by repeated administrative mistakes. Despite filling out a patient form online prior to seeing a consultant, I later found the paper version of that form that I was handed upon my arrival full of both outdated information and mistakes – had to correct literally every entry, and was then sent into the administrator's office to start the whole process all over. When I arrived for my day-patient surgery a few weeks later, whilst checking my medical notes with a nurse, it came out that my body weight was recorded incorrectly, with a difference of eight kilos from the real one – I haven't even paid attention, understandably distraught, but, luckily, my husband overheard and intervened. This is an alarming mistake running up to a surgery under general anaesthesia. Finally, later that day I was discharged with a paper bag that I assumed contained both my prescription medicine and post-operative care instructions, as is the standard practice. However, having arrived home in the evening, I discovered that it was just the medicine. Each one of these mishaps on its own does not amount to much, but taken together, they did not make for a happy patient's experience.

Overall the quality of care was excellent. On the day of the operation, the surgeon explained that I might need to wait for other emergency cases to be operated first, which wasn't a problem for me, but the operation happened quite late that evening (9 or 10 pm). I wasn't informed that I could have water in the meantime, so I was very thirsty by the time I went into the theatre, because I had been fasting since early the morning. That is only thing I would have changed.

I was admitted on the 11th October 2024. Professor Hermant Kocher and his medical team performed a laparoscopic cholecystectomy on me. From the start to the end, I had a very welcoming and accommodating experience. They made it very easy for me. The nurses were quick in responses whenever I needed them; the caterers were helpful in choosing appropriate meals after the surgery; the medical team took great care of me in the recovery room; plus the Professor's secretary, Karen did a wonderful job in terms of after-care when I was at home. The only thing that needs improvement is `parking space', as it is not easy to find one in a hospital located in a touristy area.

It was an amazing experience all round. I really appreciate the surgical team, the nurses, all the staff and the London clinic were so amazing. I've had to wait for over 2 and half years to do this surgery and I will say it was worth the wait in the end as everything went well and am so grateful to God and all the medical team at the London Clinic

I needed a follow-up appointment because I have lumpiness caused by excess skin under my arms. I saw the consultant on 26 Feb and said I would think about the options. I contacted the clinic on the 28th of April and was eventually offered dates for October - which I have chosen. I was surprised at the length of time I have had to wait however I am very keen to get this resolved so have just waited
