I attended to have surgery and the check in process was fast, efficient, the staff were great.
It was a satisfactory experience, very easy to organise and appt came through quickly
I came to Hadleywood for surgery, and the staff were immediately extremely friendly, ensuring that I was well informed regarding the procedure, but also comfortable. They are very aware how nervous patients can get and therefore they really make the effort to reassure you. The actual facilities and rooms were well appointed and very clean.
I went for an MRI on my head, I am not very confident about having this sort of scan, and indeed I had one whilst I was on the ward which I couldn't tolerate and had to abort after a minute. This time I was much less anxious and the staff reassured my that it would be ok. The scan went well for me as I was able to complete it this time around.
Everything was perfect apart from i don't understand why some people are offered a drink and some aren't. Other people where but I was not
1)I found the signage to the main lifts and to Lyndhurst rooms confusing. There should be signage in the ground floor lift lobby saying which departments are on which floor. I have been complaining about this since 1971. 2)The excellent group portrait of the Royal Free consultants in about 1970 which used to be on the ground floor but has now been removed to the 12th Floor no longer has the key saying who they are. This is a digrace and an insult to the memory of a fine group of men (and about ten women), The key should be found and reinstated immediately.
