About Benenden Hospital
Benenden Hospital has been caring for patients since 1907, having been opened to treat patients with Tuberculosis. The hospital has since then developed to provide a range of facilities and services to essentially care for and rehabilitate self-funding private patients and Benenden Health members.
Benenden is a private hospital which offers a modern and calm environment and the services are delivered by the best doctors and nurses, having received an Outstanding Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating. We always ensure they provide the highest standard of care in a safe and compassionate manner.
Benenden Hospital is equipped with the latest technology and modern facilities. This includes the opening of Bensan Ward, as part of the hospital's multi-million-pound redevelopment programme. Furthermore, the Ambulatory Care Unit was provided with advanced equipment for upper gastro-intestinal investigations, including sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy.
The hospital also offers additional services, including hip and knee replacement surgery, cataract removal, varicose vein treatment, plastic and cosmetic surgery, private GP services, a range of diagnostic tests and scans and physiotherapy services provided by the highly-experienced teams.

Only downside was being addressed as ‘ my love ‘ or ‘ my lovely’ - good intentions but by name would have been more appropriate .
From initial consultation to having tests the process has been very swift. All staff have been extremely helpful
